Cancer survivors make their mark with “The Arch” at Grande Provence

People of all ages came out in support of children facing cancer and survivors who made their mark with Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu at Grand Provence Heritage Wine Estate, the finish line of the Survivor’s Walk of Hope in Franschhoek.

Starting off with a fun walk, cancer survivors were rewarded with the opportunity of placing their hand prints on a giant portrait of “the Arch” himself.

Organised by Out Of Africa Children’s Foundation, funds raised from this event will go towards improving the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and terminal illnesses. For more information, contact Kevin Canning of Out Of Africa Children’s Foundation at webmaster@ooacf.org.

Located in Franschhoek, the heartland of South African wine country, Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate offers true South African wine heritage, excellent food and 5-star accommodation. For more information visit www.grandeprovence.co.za, Facebook.com or Twitter @grande_provence.
