Embrace spring in all its glory at Grande Provence with an exclusive visit to owner Alex van Heeren’s private garden during the annual Franschhoek Open Gardens Festival from Friday, 23 October to Sunday, 25 October.
Wine lovers can enjoy a complimentary tasting of the Grande Provence Chenin Blanc/Viognier 2015 while taking in the beautiful scenery with tea and scones on offer in the garden.
Visitors can extend their stay with lunch at The Restaurant at Grande Provence and enjoy the sweeping mountains views and a visual feast of art in the Sculpture Garden.
Tickets to the Open Gardens Festival cost R150 per person and are available at the Franschhoek Town Hall and Fransvliet Guest House. The festival times are 10h00 to 17h00 on Friday, 23 October, and 09h00 to 17h00 on Saturday, 24 October and Sunday, 25 October. Tea and scones at Grande Provence cost R50 per person and all proceeds will be donated to the Fleur de Lis Home for the Aged.
